Santa Cruz United (formerly Santa Cruz Breakers) will not be running a recreational soccer program this spring. However, we are proud to support Aptos Soccer Club, our affiliate recreational soccer club, as they offer an exciting program for players of all levels during Spring 2025.

Pathway to Competitive Soccer Program

For: Players born in 2018 and 2017, as well as recreational players of any age who want to move into competitive soccer.

Focus: Preparing players for competitive team tryouts by developing technical skills, tactical understanding, and a competitive mindset.

Features: Twice-weekly practices led by professional coaches and participation in NorCal playdates.

Grassroots Development Program

For: Serious younger players (U6 and U7, born in 2019 and 2020) who are ready for advanced training beyond recreational soccer.

Focus: Foundational technical skills, decision-making, and fostering a love for the game in a fun yet challenging environment.

Can Players Enroll in Both Programs?
Yes! Players are welcome to participate in both the Aptos Soccer Club recreational program and Santa Cruz United’s developmental programs. This gives players the flexibility to enjoy recreational soccer while also gaining advanced training and experience through our developmental sessions and NorCal playdates.
